One of the earliest yellow tomatoes of medium size (120-180g), this tomato obviously owes its name to the Yellow Cab! Growth is compact, so it's a bush tomato. The round fruits have a delicious aroma and are remarkably sweet. Yellow tomatoes add a surprising colour to salads or salsas! Due to their early ripening, the plants are less affected by Phytophthora and even do very well in the tropics: a widely applicable variety.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse or cold frame? Then soil-borne diseases can develop, against which rootstocks are resistant, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
This group of tomatoes is sized between a cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato: medium size, in other words. Each has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen somewhat later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse, or grow tunnel.
