This variety (from 1998) yields a very early harvest and is therefore not very susceptible to Phytophthora. The plant needs support and grows up to 150 cm in the greenhouse! The harvest of very tasty, sweet fruits weighing about 100 g is enormous. Dr. Paul Thomas of Burpee Seeds developed this variety.
These tomatoes are a size between cherry tomato and beefsteak tomato: medium-sized. Each has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen a little later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse, or grow tunnel.
