This group of tomatoes are sized between a cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato: medium-sized, in other words. Each has a unique character. The indeterminate varieties ripen somewhat later than the determinate varieties and are therefore more successful when protected from rain: under a canopy, in a greenhouse, or a growing tunnel.
