A beautiful, now historical tomato from Russia with glossy, reddish-brown skin that transitions to dark green towards the stem attachment. Finally, a dark tomato that is not so susceptible to cracking and thus remains impeccable after harvesting. The taste is juicy, fruity, aromatic with a typical smoky aftertaste. The local Russian population can still buy them in abundance at the market, which is not surprising, because this variety even fits into the professional sector! The fruits grow in clusters of approximately 6 pieces, each weighing 100-150 grams.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As a tool, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
This group of tomatoes is of a size between cherry tomato and beefsteak tomato: medium size, in other words. Each has its own unique character.
