This compact-growing tomato (50-70 cm high) thrives excellently in a large pot, but naturally also in open ground. The orange-yellow fruits weigh 90-180 g and are deliciously sweet and juicy. Due to their slightly thicker skin, they are well resistant to cracking and transport. An ideal variety for Northern Europe, developed at the University of New Hampshire.
This group of tomatoes is a size between a cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato: a medium size. Each has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen somewhat later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse, or growing tunnel.
