Sometimes, the offspring of an F1 hybrid are remarkably true-to-seed and virtually identical to the parents. This is also true for this professional variety... the full trusses of red fruits ripen early and have retained the old-fashioned tomato flavour. The climbing plants are very disease-resistant.
If you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse (or small greenhouse), diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As a tool, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
This group of tomatoes is intermediate in size between cherry tomato and beefsteak tomato: medium-sized, in other words. Each has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen somewhat later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse or grow tunnel.
