An ancient variety still highly regarded: firm flesh, few seeds, very good taste. The climbing plant bears fruit shaped like an elongated bell pepper: 10-15cm long and 4-5cm wide, 80-150g. It ripens from yellow, through orange, to red.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse or mini-greenhouse? Then soil-borne diseases can develop, which rootstocks are resistant to, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
This group of tomatoes are sized between a cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato: medium-sized, in other words. Each has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen a bit later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse, or grow tunnel.
