Medium-sized Dwarf Tomato 'Balkonstar'

Medium-sized Dwarf Tomato 'Balkonstar'

Product number: 293150
Origin: Central and South America
Latin: Lycopersicon lycopersicum, or also L. esculentum

The most compact growing variety with larger fruits. Its height of 30-50cm makes this variety ideal for cultivation in a pot.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, to which rootstocks are resistant and therefore grafting is recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.

This group of tomatoes are of a size between cherry tomato and beefsteak tomato: medium-sized, in other words. Each has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse or grow tunnel.
