ORGANICALLY GROWN SEEDS! This bush tomato ripens relatively early and is therefore less susceptible to potato blight. The fairly large fruits (350 g) taste, with careful cultivation, as a true Dutch tomato should: full, fairly sweet with little acidity. The skin is firm, so the fruit transports well. Biting into the fruit therefore first gives the familiar "snap". This also means the fruits have a long shelf life!
If you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse (or mini-greenhouse), diseases can develop in the soil. Rootstocks are resistant to these, making grafting advisable:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
This group of tomatoes are sized between a cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato: medium-sized, in other words. Each has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful with rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse, or grow tunnel.
