This variety is the result of a cross between 'Green Sausage' x 'Cherokee Purple'. The result is a beautiful elongated Roma tomato in a deep purplish-red color. Expect a bountiful harvest of 120-200g (sometimes heavier) fruits with a rich, sufficiently sweet taste, soft texture, and a lot of fruity aroma. Delicious to eat as is or to make a special sauce from.
Elongated, sweet tomatoes with a lot of flesh. In subtropical countries, this is the type for processing into juices, soups, ketchup, sun-dried tomatoes, etc. Tip: freeze Roma tomatoes whole, with their skin on.
