This olive-shaped tomato is a cross between 'Black Plum' and 'Sweet Beverly'. The result is impressive! Soft like its black father and sweet like its mother... The color is deep dark red and the harvest of this tall-growing variety is large, in the second half of the season until frost. Often 3-6 trusses grow side by side, a beautiful abundance!
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are named accordingly. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, perhaps that is why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
