  • Product number: 291750
  • Origin: Central and South America
  • Latin: Lycopersicon lycopersicum, also known as L. esculentum

Juicy, aromatic, red cherry tomatoes with a pleasant, thin skin. They are easy to eat without "cracking"! Bought at the market in Sheng Huang and since then a popular tomato among hobbyists. The fruits weigh 17-20 grams.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to and for which grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.

The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are given a slightly different name accordingly. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which may be why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.

Names:
Latin: Lycopersicon lycopersicum, or L. esculentum
Dutch: Cherry Tomato
