A nice (and beautiful!) tomato to grow in pots or containers. The plants partly hang over the pot and grow (slightly) upwards, creating an overall full bush, where only a few stakes can provide some support. The small tomatoes weigh 30-45g and are delicious as a snack! The ripe colour is red with orange stripes, but you can also harvest them when the stripes are still green.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, perhaps that is why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
