Graceful red-green and later red-yellow striped fruits with a fine, balanced flavor. The climbing plants produce (quite early) a large harvest of 30-60g, 4-5cm fruits, typically the size of a ping-pong ball... The trusses are compact and can contain 10-30 fruits!
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are named accordingly. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, while a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
