The red fruits hang in beautiful bunches on large, climbing plants. The firm tomatoes weigh about 30g and are sweet, juicy, and aromatic. Resistance to Phytophthora is very high!
If you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse (or small greenhouse), diseases can develop in the soil. Rootstocks are resistant to these diseases, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or 'ping-pong' tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, while a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
