ENJOY AND EXPLORE! Our grower created a fascinating and varied mix of small tomatoes in many shapes and colors, most just a tad larger than a cherry tomato. Dark red, almost white, orange and red, in shapes: round, olive, teardrop and pear-shaped.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet-and-sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which may be why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
