A cherry tomato as a cherry tomato should be... Beautiful elongated trusses with small, sweet, red fruits. The plant climbs, so a spot in the greenhouse is optimal. In the garden, you can top the plant after the 3rd or 4th truss.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.

The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or 'ping-pong' tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.

Sowing method: Sow indoors from March-May. Transplant into pots when seedlings are 5 cm tall. Provide plenty of light and harden off outdoors from April when the weather is good. Do not plant out until late May. Tomato plants require a lot of water. For this taller or (in a greenhouse) climbing type, side shoots (suckers) must be regularly removed. Planting distance 60-80 cm.
