Also known by the synonyms ‘Far North’ or ‘Extreme North’
Very early-harvesting, small bush tomato (60 cm high) with strikingly sweet fruits weighing 30-80 g. A top choice for our climate and even further north!
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse or cold frame? Then diseases can develop in the soil, against which rootstocks are resistant and therefore grafting is recommended:
For grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato ‘Landon’. As a helpful tool, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
