A beautiful and very tasty cultivated product from 1983 by Tom Wagner (Tater Meter Seeds) with medium-small, greenish-yellow fruits: 2.5-3 cm in clusters of 6-12 pieces, just like a large grape! The inside is grass-green. It is especially the delicious taste that stands out: very sweet, with a barely noticeable acidity and very few seeds! The ripe stage is when the fruits just start to turn golden yellow.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to and where grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As a helper, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, perhaps that is why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
