This special variety was introduced in 2013. The teardrop-shaped, deliciously sweet fruits are 2 cm long. The climbing plants are emerald green when ripe, and the harvest is abundant! This spectacular introduction bears fleshy, aromatic tomatoes that are wonderfully sweet and juicy. These fruits can be eaten raw, baked, grilled or fried. It is also possible to make an original salsa if you combine Green Envy with its red counterparts.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are given a slightly different name accordingly. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original varieties, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
