A Swiss warm yellow tomato with a beautiful, mild flavour. Eaten slightly unripe, the taste is firmer. Expect a good harvest from semi-tall plants; suckers encourage more vertical growth, but you can also let the plant grow wild.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse (or mini-greenhouse)? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and therefore grafting is recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As a tool, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are given a slightly different name accordingly. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet; a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is perhaps why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
