These climbing tomatoes grow very well outdoors or in a greenhouse; many enthusiasts praise this old variety from Montenegro for its healthy growth and great taste! The red fruits vary somewhat in size: 15-50 grams. This variety was actually saved by emigrants who had left Montenegro (then Yugoslavia) for Canada.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are given a slightly different name accordingly. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, while a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which may be why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
