Our Belgian breeder diligently and carefully cross-breeds the best and most colorful plants! This resulted in this cheerful mix of cherry tomatoes; the plants are more or less compact and can grow both in the greenhouse and in the open ground. In a very wet year, it is wise to place the plants under a shelter, as wet crops are more prone to diseases...
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or ping-pong tomatoes, depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, while a few have a sweet and sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
