A bonbon-brown cherry tomato of about 40-50 grams, with a soft texture and a wonderfully sweet and aromatic taste! It is the first professional, disease-resistant version of this elegant tomato, a promising addition to our assortment. Growth is indeterminate, so support with stakes (climbing spiral) outdoors or a climbing string in the greenhouse. Internet reviews are full of praise, and the yield is very high!
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse (or mini-greenhouse)? Then soil-borne diseases can develop, against which rootstocks are resistant, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The smallest tomatoes in our assortment are called cherry tomatoes or 'ping-pong tomatoes', depending on their size. Some varieties are elongated or heart-shaped and are accordingly given a slightly different name. Some are even original, wild species. Most taste extra sweet, a few have a sweet-and-sour taste. Cherry tomatoes are closest to the original species, which is probably why they are generally more resistant to the dreaded potato blight.
