Spinach 'Nobel Giant'

  • Product number: 290320
  • Origin: Mediterranean region
  • Latin: Spinach

A top performer since 1920! This spinach yearns to grow big, as is customary around the Mediterranean. Harvesting young (as we are used to in the Netherlands) is, of course, also possible. With sufficient spacing, this variety fully develops and is then known to us as "wild spinach": thick, dark green leaves of a strikingly large size. In summer, cultivation is only successful in a shaded spot (shade net) with sufficient mulch.

Names:
Latin: Spinacia oleracea
Dutch: Wilde Spinazie
Also known as: Reuzenspinazie
English: Giant Spinach
