A very dark brown-red butterhead lettuce from the latest generation of cultivation! This means: good (downy) mildew resistance (BL1-16,19,21,23). The unique feature of this Salanova is its ease of preparation: "1 cut... ready!" The heads are cut just above the root, cleaned, and then cut slightly higher on the cutting board: in 1 cut, the bite-sized pieces of lettuce fall into the dish! Enjoy the fresh lettuce taste with a buttery soft texture.
You can potentially sow these pelleted seeds the following year; store the seeds well-sealed in the refrigerator.
Comment from a satisfied customer:
And this year I said something I've never said before: what beautiful lettuce. Absolutely amazing. I keep harvesting the outer leaves and it stays beautiful, no tendency to bolt at all, every leaf still looks exactly the same. I'm enthusiastic!
