This historical and reliable rhubarb variety produces quite thick stems that are a good red color.
Rhubarb grown from seed never yields a 100% homogeneous variety. You can select based on the (small) differences: You start harvesting the earliest flowering plants earlier, and you can continue harvesting the later flowering ones for longer. This way you get a nice production field!
