Rhubarb 'Näsåker' / 'Lillterrsjö'

  • Product number: 225900
  • Origin: Eurasia
  • Latin: Rheum rhabarbarum

Our grower in Sweden annually searches for the most fruitful plants in the countryside and harvests their seeds. The plants will differ slightly from each other; the earliest flowering specimens can be harvested extra early. Expect a large number of very fertile plants with aromatic, sweet and sour stems!

Rhubarb from seed never yields a 100% homogeneous variety. You can select based on the (small) differences yourself: You start harvesting the earliest flowering plants earlier, and you can continue harvesting the later flowering ones for longer. This way you get a nice productive field!
