Leek 'Blue-Green Winter Sel. Farinto'

  • Product number: 222430
  • Origin: Europe
  • Latin: Allium porrum

'Farinto' is a modern variety, specially developed for late autumn and winter cultivation. The plants endure the harshest winter cold and immediately after the frost (in early spring) grow into heavy, thick leeks.

PELLETED SEEDS have the following advantages and characteristics:
1) A biodegradable coating around the seeds ensures a uniform, round shape, easy to handle and, if necessary, easily applicable in a sowing machine.
2) Within a few hours of absorbing moisture from the surrounding soil, the pellet breaks open and provides the seed with a metered amount of nutrition for the first time. However, use good soil in the sowing row (potting soil) to ensure good moisture absorption.
3) A large seed size is always used, i.e., the best quality with the highest germination power.
