Graceful and edible! Usually ornamental gourds are not edible, but these beautiful, warty fruits have been developed from edible pumpkins and are good to eat. You can even eat them young, harvested like zucchini. Furthermore, enjoy the beautiful, warm colours of orange and dark green in many shades, with or without warts and bumps. The fruits are quite large: 3-5 kg each and ripen quickly on the plant. The plants are somewhat vining (quite compact) and remain very healthy due to various resistances.
We are very happy to be able to sell the beautiful assortment from Outstanding Seed Company. This American company from Beaver Falls (Pennsylvania) specializes in growing and improving (through traditional breeding) pumpkins. They focus on improving color, shape, taste, disease resistance, harvest time, harvest size, and storability. It's great to be able to buy directly from the source!
