Beautiful, slightly elongated fruits in the shape of a belly-neck-neck (17x10 cm) in beige with beautiful green stripes. The pumpkin, which has greatly increased in popularity, is also called "butternut squash" and very often has "butternut" incorporated into the variety name. Major advantages are the concentration of the seeds in the belly, allowing the neck to be cut without issue. A second advantage is the smooth skin, which can be cut along without problems and hardly needs a longer time to cook soft. The only downside for our country: the fruits have a fairly long growing season, although this variety is one of the earliest. You cannot sow too late and they benefit extra from a good summer. The result is: delicious!
Pumpkins can be grown outdoors without problems. The growing tips can be pruned regularly and are edible! Harvesting during dry weather provides the best storability. All pumpkins are edible! For some varieties, we mention the synonyms, which are the names under which the variety is also known. For other varieties, we mention very similar varieties; if you have a clear preference for one of those mentioned together, please indicate this clearly.
