This variety originally comes from Australia and is now experiencing a spectacular American improvement in taste and yield...! The fruits are flattened and sharply to softly grooved, light green mottled, white, grey, blue-grey, and pink (!) in colour with a rough texture and excellent shelf life. The deep orange flesh is sweet, dry, and of excellent quality and taste. The average diameter is over 30 cm with a height of 18-20 cm. They weigh 10-15 kg, and the vining plants have considerable vigour. The fruits are usually flat at the top and bottom; if you keep the stem a bit shorter, they are stackable, which is why they are called 'Stacking Pumpkins' in the US. The average weight is 10 kg, the vining plants remain healthy for a long time, and their resistance to powdery mildew is very high.
We are very happy to be able to sell the beautiful assortment from Outstanding Seed Company. This American company from Beaver Falls (Pennsylvania) specializes in breeding and improving (through traditional breeding) pumpkins. They focus on improving color, shape, taste, disease resistance, harvest time, harvest size, and storability. It's great to be able to buy directly from the source!
