Enthusiasts praise the taste of this banana squash. The 'Sibley' selection has been available since 1887. The 40-50 cm long and 15 cm thick fruits have golden-yellow flesh, beautifully smooth in texture, with little fibre. The weight is 2-3 kg and the skin is blue-grey: a beauty!
Squash can be grown outdoors without any problems. The growing tips can be pruned regularly and are edible! Harvesting during dry weather gives the best shelf life. All squashes are edible!
