Yellow Bouquet, also known as CGN 22181, is a delicious wild pepper variety from Peru. Unlike many baccatums, this plant does not grow very large: 90 cm high and 60 cm wide. The plant is quite productive and can produce more than 100 beautiful yellow icicle-shaped fruits, often blushing purple, in one season. The peppers are very tasty: they are sweet and fruity, with a hint of citrus, just like the Lemon Drop. The heat is not overly intense, so it is easy to detect the more subtle but complex flavors. These peppers go very well with fish and poultry dishes. These beauties are not only an excellent choice for fresh eating, but they also dry to make a great powder.
