It is doubted whether this is a true Habanero type; there is a lot of cross-breeding and cultivation in the hobby sphere. The result is certainly interesting: the appearance of the well-known Ajoema pepper, the same aroma and aftertaste, but less intensely hot! This pepper owes its name to its lantern shape, which certainly resembles the shape of the island of Tasmania. The ripening process goes from green, through black and purple to deep red!
