Pepper 'serrano Purple'

  • Product number: 209391
  • Origin: Northern Mexico
  • Latin: Capsicum annuum

A beautiful dark purple pepper, originating from the mountains of northern Mexico. This means it can tolerate some cold! Under ideal conditions, the plant can grow up to one and a half meters, but usually remains (much) smaller. The fruits are conical and relatively large, about 10 cm. The leaves have fairly long stems and hang somewhat limply. The lilac flowers are strikingly large. The peppers eventually turn red, so if you want purple ones: don't harvest too late!

Names:
Latin: Capsicum annuum
