Pepper 'Royal Black' / 'Explosive Ember'

  • Product number: 209374
  • Origin: America
  • Latin: Capsicum annuum

A pepper that lives up to its name. Growth starts immediately with very dark purple, almost black leaves with dark blue veins. The bloom provides the second surprise: white in the center and dark purple towards the outside. Then the fruits develop: upright, conical peppers in a dark purple, almost black color, eventually ripening to red. Due to the limited height of the plants (60-90 cm), cultivation in pots is also quite possible.

Names:
Latin: Capsicum annuum
Dutch: Peper
English: Hot Pepper
