Pepper 'Padron' / 'Pimientos de Padron'

  • Product number: 209100
  • Origin: Central America
  • Latin: Capsicum annuum

A mild pepper with a touch of heat… This variety is used in Spain and Portugal in the famous tapas. Usually eaten green, this 5cm long, conical pepper turns slightly red at the end. Its wider shape near the stem makes the fruits ideal for single-bite tapas. Stuffed with cream cheese, they are increasingly appearing alongside red peppadews.
