A cheerful explosion of colour with a mild bite! Who doesn't know them, those delicious mild-spicy peppers that you sprinkle in rings over your pizza or pick crunchy out of a jar? The classic Pepperoncini is an icon in Italian cuisine, but this 'Orange' variety casts the tradition in a radiant new light! Instead of the usual yellow-green, these fruits ripen to a beautiful, warm orange. This not only looks fantastic in the vegetable garden or in a pot on the patio, but the taste also benefits: as they ripen, the peppers develop a subtle fruity aroma and a pleasant sweetness, without losing their characteristic, mild 'kick'. A healthy, bushy grower that richly rewards you with a cascade of fruits (approx. 6-9 cm long). The perfect pepper for pickling yourself (brine or vinegar), but also addictively delicious in rings through a salad or stuffed with a soft cream cheese.
