Pepper 'Naga Morich'

  • Product number: 208915
  • Origin: Bangladesh and North-East India
  • Latin: Capsicum chinense

This variety is one of the hottest in the world! Like the extremely hot Bhut Jolokia, this pepper comes from Bangladesh and Northeast India. The fruits are elongated, slightly smaller than Bhut Jolokia, and have a bumpy, firm skin. The taste is unique: sweet with a pungent flavour, mixed with woody, smoky undertones. In Bangladesh, they are often harvested green and eaten raw. SHU 1,000,000-1,500,000
