The first thing that strikes you is the plant's elegance: a heavy, white hairiness gives the stems and leaves a grey-green appearance. Besides being beautiful, this is also very practical against diseases, predation, and drought! The fruits are very hot (30,000 Scoville) and change colour from green, through black, to red. They stand upright, are 7 cm long and 0.5 cm wide. This variety probably comes from Venezuela; sow them early, as the plant produces late (you may need to bring them indoors in the autumn).
