Pepper 'Candlelight Dark'

  • Product number: 207994
  • Origin: America
  • Latin: Capsicum annuum

In 1983, this was a striking winner at the AAS (All America Selections). At that time, it was barely known (let alone popular) in the Netherlands that fiery red, upright peppers are very good to eat. The plants remain very compact and form beautifully contrasting dark green foliage. The fruits are mildly hot, making them easy to incorporate into any meal for the inexperienced pepper eater.

Denominations:
Latin: Capsicum annuum
Dutch: Peper
English: Hot Pepper
