Pepper 'Brazilian Starfish' / 'Aji Brazilian Starfish'

  • Product number: 207964
  • Origin: South America
  • Latin: Capsicum baccatum

A Peruvian pepper that looks like a starfish, I also see a mini-pattypan in it. Very decorative and tasty too. For most people, this fruit is edible without too much risk of burning. The diameter of the fruits is about 5 cm. The plant grows quite quickly with somewhat weak stems and can therefore use some support. Can be tried outdoors in a sunny and sheltered spot.

Names:
Latin: Capsicum baccatum
Dutch: Pepper 'Brazilian Starfish'
Also known as: Aji Brazilian Starfish
