Chili Pepper 'Biquinho Amarela' / 'Button Yellow'

  • Product number: 207927
  • Origin: America
  • Latin: Capsicum chinense

A small chili, as big as a marble. The name Biquinho is Portuguese for "small beak". With a little imagination, you can see a bird's beak or an inverted drop. The yellow fruits are only slightly hot but have a distinct 'smoky' flavour. Ideal for sweet and sour marinades and sauces. Also great for barbecues and for pickling with, for example, gherkins. The plant grows to about 75 cm high and needs the warmth of a greenhouse or polytunnel.

Denominations:
Latin: Capsicum chinense
Dutch: Peper
Also known as: Biquinho Amarela, Button Yellow
English: Hot Pepper
