Pepper Adjuma-Type 'Paper Lantern' / 'Habanero Paper Lant'

  • Product number: 207740
  • Origin: America
  • Latin: Capsicum chinense

A true Habanero (or Ajoema) for Northern countries. The plants grow somewhat more compactly (75-100 cm) and produce an abundance of 7-8 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, slightly wrinkled fruits that ripen from light green via orange to bright red. This Habanero is also searingly hot, with its own unique aroma (for the experienced eater). Rainy summers result in slightly milder fruits.

Latin: Capsicum chinense
