A very pleasant and popular variety from Peru. Many of the red, elongated, medium-hot peppers grow on large, wide and heavily branched plants. The variety tolerates slightly cooler temperatures well and can therefore be grown outdoors. The fruits are thin-walled and can be easily dried to produce an aromatic chili powder that does not lose its fruity flavour, even after long-term storage.
