Light green fruits of very good uniformity, slightly bulbous in the center.
Patisson is the French name for a flat, ornamental fruit, which closely resembles a flying saucer. The fruit is closely related to zucchini and tastes very similar. The intention is to harvest them (for consumption) young to very young; the skin should still feel "squeaky" then. It's truly luxurious to harvest them so young that the flower is still attached... Fried whole in oil, that makes a beautiful dish! To preserve the fruit for show, you should let it ripen on the (compact) plant. Enjoy this beauty!
