Beautiful two-tone, flat fruits. White with green stripes.
Patisson is the French name for a flat, elegant fruit, which closely resembles a flying saucer. The fruit is closely related to zucchini and tastes very similar. The intention is to harvest them (for consumption) when young to very young, when the skin still feels "squeaky". It is absolutely luxurious to harvest them so young that the flower is still attached... Fried whole in oil, it makes a beautiful dish! To preserve the fruit for show, you must let it ripen on the (compact) plant. Enjoy this beauty!
