A beautiful selection from the Panaché with bright orange, very flat fruits.
Patisson is the French name for a flat, graceful fruit, which strongly resembles a flying saucer. The fruit is closely related to the courgette and tastes very similar to it. The intention is to harvest them (for consumption) young to very young, the skin will still feel "squeaky". It is a complete luxury to harvest them so young that the flower is still attached... Prepared whole in oil, this makes a beautiful dish! To preserve the fruit for display, you must let it ripen on the (compact) plant. Enjoy this beauty!
