A refined parsnip with a gradually tapering shape. The roots are quite smooth, yield high returns, and are disease-resistant. Harvestable after 110 days. This variety is therefore suitable for early harvesting. Also try harvesting an extra young parsnip: a delicacy!
Sweet, white root, cultivated for centuries. Parsnip remains have been found in Switzerland and Southern Germany during excavations dating back to the Stone Age (9000 BC and later). The parsnip became particularly popular as a cultivated crop around the turn of the era in Roman times in Italy. They are quite frost-resistant, and their flavor is enhanced after a frost. Please note: in warm and sunny weather, the leaves can cause irritation when harvesting.
